How to Apply
All parents/carers applying for a Year 7 place for their child at Graveney School must submit an application online via a link on their Local Authority's (LA) website or complete a Common Application Form (CAF) obtainable from the LA in which they live.
Information for 2024 entry
- Applications can be made from 1 September 2023.
- Graveney does not have a supplementary form.
- Completed forms, whether paper or online must be returned to the LA by 31 October 2023.
Wandsworth Year 6 Test 2023 for 2024 Entry
The Wandsworth Year 6 Test was held in September 2023 for children starting secondary school in 2024.
Please note the change to the Wandsworth Test Registration:
ALL CHILDREN whether at a Wandsworth state primary school, independent or out of borough school, must be registered by their parent/guardian to be invited to take the test.
Registration closed on 5 September 2023.

Pupils attending a Wandsworth Primary School will no longer sit the test in their primary school. This year all pupils who registered sat the test in one of the four secondary schools using the test for admissions purposes. These are Graveney School, Burntwood School, Ashcroft Technology Academy and Chestnut Grove. Registered pupils were tested on Wednesday 27 September 2023, Thursday 28 September 2023 and Friday 29 September 2023..
As far as it is possible, Wandsworth Council will arrange for pupils from the same primary school to sit the test on the same day and in the same test venue so that students will be taking the test with their peer group.
The Pupil Services team at Wandsworth Council email you with details of the date, time and venue for your child’s test.
