ARTiculation Prize Success

Congratulations to Year 13 student Benji Kandler on his success at the recent London Final of the ARTiculation Prize for art criticism. ARTiculation is an international public speaking initiative that champions the appreciation and discussion of art.
Benji won the school heat and went on to compete at the London quarter final at the Dulwich Picture Gallery where chose to speak about 'The Notary' by artist Michel Basquiat. He won this stage and went through to the London Final of ARTiculation at the National Gallery in February.

Benji did extremely well at the London Final in achieving third place as the standard of presentations was outstanding. He was highly commended by the Adjudicator who commented on how she had learned from his presentation - high praise indeed. Benji will join a group of students who will attend the ARTiculation Symposium at Clare College, Cambridge where they will among other things, attend a lecture by Sir Anthony Gormley OBE and will tour the college with current students

Well done Benjamin!
