Appeals Timetable

Your offer of a school place for Year 7 will be sent by your home Local Authority on 1st March 2017. If you have applied to Graveney School, but have not received an offer of a place here, you have the right to appeal against this decision to an independent appeals panel.

Graveney is an Academy, therefore the Academy Trust is responsible for independent appeals. We have made arrangements with Wandsworth Borough Council to handle appeals on our behalf. You will receive information on how to make an appeal with your offer letter.

Click here to access the Wandsworth school admissions appeals webpage.

The deadline for submitting your appeal to Wandsworth is
THURSDAY 30TH MARCH 2017. You do not need to submit all your supporting evidence at this time, but you must do so by 8am, 3 working days before your appeal hearing at the latest.

The dates allocated to Graveney appeals have yet to be finalised, but they will fall between 15th May and 16th June (excluding half term week). Once the exact dates are known they will be posted here. You will be given the exact date, time and location of your appeal at least 10 school days before the hearing. You will receive a copy of the school's case and other associated paperwork at least 7 working days before your hearing.

Appeals lodged after this deadline will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline, or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.

If you have any questions about this, please contact Ms Cullen, Admissions, at Graveney School.
